very light, very soft, very functional. Well worth the purchase

This set replaces for an expensive ' Designer' set that cost nearly twice what this sells for and is of extremely high quality. We only get a month to test the products before posting a review which, in this case, is barely long enough. However, based on the limited time of usage I do give this product four stars. The cloth itself is thicker, or more robust, than expected and the fear was that the cover would be hot for its intended Spring and Summer use. Not sure why, but the cover is remarkably cool. The cloth has a really high sheen, surprisingly shiny actually. The buttons are large and appear to be of high quality, just like every thing else. Based on initial usage, I can recommend that you purchase this set if you are ONLY interested in the blanket cover because the pillow cases are a odd, having a large margin around the edge making the things look a bit like ravioli. Also, the Taupe color is kind of pinky but it isn't too much of a stretch to call it Taupe, I suppose but it ain't taupe, in my opinion.

We had purchased these sheets from Overstock 3 years ago, we searched high and low for them again and finally found them They are my ONLY sheets I will ever buy!!!

Very sturdy, heavy and well-made duvet cover. Some people prefer flimsy softness but I like thick, substantial sheets and comforters like these. The shipment weighs 8 lbs, so you are paying for a lot of extra cotton content. If this set were made by a big name brand company it would be 3 times the price.

This was my first duvet purchase and so far, I have no complaints. Love the quality of everything purchased from Home City over the last two months.
