It's the perfect color and weight. So pretty once it's washed and the paisley shows more. It did shrink after washing but it was huge to begin with. We gently stretched it out while still warm from the dryer. It's lovely.
I am very happy with this purchase. So far the quality seems excellent, but I've only washed it once. It is very soft! I got the taupe color and it is a nice, dark tanish brown. It is actually a little darker in color than it appears on my screen, but every monitor is different so hard to say if that would be true for you or not. One thing to note - the pillow shams are open on one end.... they do not have the slit in the middle of the back like most shams do. This doesn't bother me in the least, but I did find it a little odd.
